Looks heavy, don’t it? But it’s fast and quiet and rides good and handles great. Gearing is stock and it’s just perfect with the updated automatic overdrive. Pretty cool, huh? Goes down the road like a hot rod panel truck!
Mean looking front end on this Hot Rod. This truck is now happily at home in New York. I drive all over the country picking up and delivering the classic cars that are restored or hot rodded here.
The interior restoration and custom work on this Ford Truck includes electric 6 way seats from a late model Cadillac, all new custom gauges, the original steering wheel and column, Lokar floor shifter, custom carpet, paisley door inserts and headliner. Classic, modern, vintage, custom all mixed into one terrific package.
“I hate it when you leave me, but I love to watch you drive away.” With the right combination of lowered ride height, custom wheels, custom tail lights, license plate light delete, rear bumper delete, the rear end of this barge is really nice…if you’re into that sort of thing.
“Say Ahhh.” Big enough for all the fun you can think up! For me it’s beach balls, umbrellas, cooler, kids, swim toys. You can’t go wrong heading out on whatever adventure in this cool antique Ford.
Here’s another photo of the awesome custom interior of this ’57 hot rod.
It just keeps going and going inside here.
I guess this vintage Ford truck is typical of the work done at Doug Jenkins Garage; simple modifications, elegant styling, great color, perfect lowered stance, updated engine/driveline/steering/suspension/electricals, and a great value.
